Blood Test and Chemo Yesterday
Yesterday Pamela started the first week of the third cycle of the current chemothearapy. The decline in her CA125 blood test did not continue. It went up to 516. As we were warned this is a long process and we will need more than three data points to establish a trend. And as we have been told it will be the CT scan that gives us the best data.
More Good News - Week Two of Second Cycle
Pamela’s CA125 Dropped again from last weeks 546 to 460 this week!!!
She got her single dose of chemo today. She was feeling pretty good the past few days, I think the improving numbers have given her a boost.
Some Good News - Week One of Second Cycle
We had a bit of good news today. For the first time since February of 2009 her CA 125 blood test has shown a decrease. Her last blood test done on 12/18/2009 came in at 833, today it is 546. We can’t bank on this data but it is an indicator. The next CT scan is in six weeks, that will give us the best information about the cancer.
